Thirteen Island primary schools were visited by best-selling authors this summer term as part of a series of sessions put together by the organisers of the Isle of Wight Story Festival.

What an amazing day. I have absolutely adored going into schools as part of the IW Story Festival. I went to Northwood and Oakfield and met some delightful children. One of the sessions was insane- the children were so loud but in a good way. They were so fired up with enthusiasm it was incredible and I Ioved it. Thank you to the schools for hosting me and to the organisers of the school’s program.
Creaturama in Arreton is now stocking my books! It’s well worth a visit, the way he has made life sized models out of recycled materials is amazing. There is a full sized Dalek too! Anthony used to work for the BBC and is a very interesting man to talk to.
This afternoon brought these 2 cuties, and they were really into it as you can see ❤️
